- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 inch ginger, peeled and grated
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (and more for seasoning later)

- add meat to marinate
- keep marinated meat refrigerated, > 2 hrs to 24 hrs
- remove from fridge to equilibrate to room temperature, 30 min
